- On 27 July 2014 peacefully at Kandahar Court, Masterton, aged 84. Dearly loved husband of the late Rita. Much loved father and father-in-law of John (Mangaweka), Michael and Jill (Martinborough), Robert (dec), Andrew (dec), Simon and Liz (Martinborough), Jane Gisler (Te Awamutu), Clare and Geoff Allanson (Lower Hutt), and David (Martinborough). A loved Grandad and Great-grandad. A Service for Barry will be held at St Anthony's Catholic Church, Princess Street, Martinborough on Thursday 31 July at 1.00pm followed by burial at Martinborough Cemetery.
