McGillivray, Betty Gladys - 4th March 1927 - 28th September 2014. Suddenly, but peacefully, at Shona McFarlane, surrounded by her loving family.

Dearly loved wife of Vern (deceased). Dearly loved and loving mother to Helen & Barry Ashton, Lynda & Jim Marson, Elizabeth & David Johnson, John & Rachel and Richard & Erica. Loved Grandma Bet of Scott & Anna, Dean & Jayne, Maree & Col, Brett & Debbie, Dan & Emma, Nicola & Steve, Lisa & Daniel, Shelley & Cory, Sarah & Michael, Aaron & Mark, Caitlin, Paddy, Nick, Jake, Lillie and George. Dearly loved Great Grandma Bet of her 22 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Shona MacFarlane and all the nursing staff for their loving care of Betty. Special thanks also to the Wellington Free Ambulance staff.

Betty will be at 37 Pohutukawa Street, Woburn and everyone is welcome to visit.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held at St Martin de Porres, 6 Park Avenue, Avalon, Lower Hutt on Wednesday 1st October at 11.00am followed by interment at Whenua Tapu Cemetery, Pukerua Bay.
