On September 24, 2014, suddenly in her home, in Dunedin. Beloved daughter of the late P.W.J. (Major) and Nora Cockerill (Timaru), elder sister of John Cockerill, and Elizabeth McCulloch, mother of Craig, Margot, and David, Granny of Matthew, David, Kate, Anna, Margot, Callum, Alice, Andrew and great-grandmother of Hazel, and soon to be Matt jnr (G.N.)

A service for Joan will be held in St John’s Anglican Church, corner Highgate and Wright Street, Roslyn, Dunedin at 11am on Tuesday September 30, followed by private cremation. Messages to 17 Oban Street, Roslyn, Dunedin 9010.
