On 29th October 2014 peacefully at Kandahar. In his 91st year.
Dearly beloved husband of the late Marie Merle Rewi.
Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Diane, Christopher and Kaye, Jonathan and Sylvia, Gregory (deceased), Patrick and Denise.
Much loved Grandad of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beloved son of the late Hitau Mehaka (Duki) and Miriama Matewai (Queenie) Rewi (of Papawai).
Loved brother and brother-in-law of William (Bill) TeTau Rewi (K.I.A.); the late Ethel Waina (Claudine) and Frank Nicholas; Joseph Anzac (deceased) and Elaine Rewi; Rosina and the late Bo Ekstrom; and Roka Rewi.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society Wairarapa, PO Box 865 Masterton 5840 would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.
A service in honour of Ted’s life will be held in St Luke’s Anglican Church, Cnr Church and Main Streets, Greytown on Saturday 1st November 2014 at 11.00am followed by burial at Greytown Lawn Cemetery.
Ted will be at his son’s residence in Masterton until his service on Saturday.
