Te Tau, Witehuki (Bill) Winsbury - of Wellington passed peacefully on 21 September 2015, at Mary Potter Hospice, aged 56 years.

Survived by his partner Nan (Ngahorihori) Wehipeihana. Loved father and father-in-law of Daniel and Letitia (Christchurch), grandfather of Ryder and stepfather to Kahiwa and Teia Sebire. Eldest son of the late Wi Te Huki Te Tau and Marnie and stepfather John Finlay and brother of Miria and Erik (Foxton), Wiki and Bill (Invercargill), Richard and Nella (Porirua), Ken and Raewyn (Porirua) and Pita (Perth) and uncle and grand uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to all of the renal staff at Wellington Hospital and Mary Potter Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations to Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated and left at the service. Messages for Bills family may be sent to PO Box 6545, Wellington, 6141 or left in Bills tribute book below.

A celebratory service will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Onepu Road and Cockburn Street, Kilbirnie on Wednesday 23 September 2015 at 11am. Bill will then travel to Tukorehe Marae, Main Road, Kuku, where he will lie in state from 4pm. A service will be held at Tukorehe Marae on Thursday 24 September 2015 at 11am followed by interment at Te Rau O Te Aroha Urupa.
