John passed away in the presence of family at Mary Potter Hospice on Tuesday 19 January 2016.

Now at peace "…with Christ which is far better".

Deeply loved husband of Sue, and the late Margaret.

Adored Dad of Jane & Jeff and Mark & Gwen.

Much loved Grandad of Samuel and Paris, and loved brother of Florrie (England).

Loved Uncle and Great Uncle to those in New Zealand and England, and also great friend to many.

The family would like to acknowledge the most wonderful care that John and the family received from Doctors,Nurses and Health Care workers at Wellington Hospital and Mary Potter Hospice.
Also thanks to Dr Richard Hornabrook -Karori Medical Centre. John was so grateful to you all.

A service for John will be held at Vivian Street Gospel Hall, 163 Vivian Street, Wellington , at 11am on Wednesday 27 January. Thereafter burial at Makara Cemetery.
