Peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice on 5 March 2016, aged 69 years.

Dearly loved husband of Carolyn; adored father and father-in-law of Paula and Blair, Belinda and Chris, Katie and Mathew; Grandoug of Harry, Oscar, Hugo, Madeleine, Sophia, Rose and Edward; Special uncle of Regan and Heath. A much loved son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. A loved friend to many.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Mary Potter Hospice, PO Box 7442, Wellington would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service for Doug will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, Cnr Cockburn St and Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie on Thursday 10th March at 1pm, thereafter private cremation.
