A special thanks to the wonderful nurses at Eketahuna Health Centre (Lee-Anne and Kendra), Dr David Smith of Pahiatua Medical Centre, the caring staff of Ward 26 Palmerston North Hospital and Arohanui Hospice, and the lovely respiratory and cardiac nurses who cared for Victor over the last two years. The love, compassion and caring you showed for Victor will never be forgotten. Many thanks also to Wyn Davidson, Rex Grey, Gene and Lyn Lewis-Clarke, Lee-Anne Tait and all who took part in Victor’s farewell service. Grateful thanks also to the hundreds of people who turned out on a very cold miserable day to say goodbye to Victor. Special thanks to those who gave donations to the National Heart Foundation. A very special thanks to Peter Giddens and his team at Richmond Funeral Home. They did a brilliant job of taking care of Victor and seeing us through this incredibly sad time.
We have been overwhelmed by the lovely personal messages of sympathy, beautiful cards and flowers, letters, food, phone-calls, visits and tributes we have received. We appreciate each and every one of them.
Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement.
