Passed away peacefully at Dunedin Hospital on Wednesday August 24, 2016 surrounded by his loving family; aged 83 years. Soul mate, best friend and dearly loved husband of Margaret, treasured and much loved Dad and father-in-law of David and Hazel, Stephen and Kirstin, much loved brother and brother-in-law of Win and the late Ted and family, the late Jack and Mary and family, special brother-in-law and a ‘great’ uncle to all his nieces and nephews here in New Zealand and around the world. Thank you my dearest Fred, and our Dad for all the wonderful memories.

A service for Fred will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Thursday, September 1, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
