Palmer, Iris - (15 May 1929 - 3 October 2016), Formerly of Christchurch.

Dearly loved wife of George Henry Palmer (28 March 1917 - 22 April 2002). Loved Mum of Christine Seymour and Ruth Palmer and their partners James and Mike. Special Grandma of Richard, Caroline, Victoria, Sarah and Hamish and Great-Grandma of Arlo, Aurelia, Oscar, Finn and Elodie.

Iris died peacefully in her sleep after a long illness.

Special thanks to the Irwell and Te Hopi Rest Home staff for their respect and care of Iris.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army are appreciated and may be left at the service.

A celebration of Iris’s life will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 375 Adelaide Road, Newtown, Wellington on Thursday 6 October 2016 at 11am. A family gathering will be held at the Avon Park Chapel, 2 Kerrs Road, Linwood, Christchurch on Friday 7 October 2016 at 2pm followed by burial at Ruru Lawn Cemetery.
