BARBER Paul Franklin passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 4th 2016, aged 79 years.

Cherished husband of Kerry and loving father and father-in-law of Nerissa and Marina, and David.

Special thanks to Dr Janet Turnbull and the team of the Motor Neurone Society for their support and kindness following Paul's diagnosis, and to the staff of the Mary Potter Hospice for making Paul's last few days so special.

A Requiem Mass in celebration of Paul's life will be held at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Hill Street Thorndon on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at 1:00pm followed by a private interment at Makara Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the Motor Neurone Disease Association PO Box 2176 Wellington 6104.
