Burke, Barbara Sydney Ann (Nee Baigent):

Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Te Hopai Home and Hospital, Wellington on Sunday, 18 December 2016, aged 77 years.

Dearly loved wife and best friend of Jim for 57 years, treasured Mother and Mother in law of Graham & Angela, Karen & Gary, Jo & Gary, Lyndon & Nerrine. Loved Nana to Joanne, Jim, Rose, Joanna, Emma, Sean, Tessa, Kiri, Keiller, Farren, Jordon & Callum. Much loved by her 9 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr Aine McCoy, the Doctors and Staff at Ward 6 and Te Hopai for the wonderful care afforded Barbara over recent months.

In Lieu of flowers donations to Te Hopai Trust would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service to celebrate the life of Barbara will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn St & Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie on Friday, 23 December at 11am, thereafter private cremation.
