On 12th December 2006 peacefully at her home, Papawai, Greytown. Aged 70 years.

Loved daughter of Takana Hemi (deceased) and Ruiha Kurei Akuhata (deceased).

Dearly loved special friend of Charles.

Deeply loved mother and mother in law of Wendy and Stu, David (deceased), Robyn and Wally, Nona and Lance, Roy and Tania, Joseph and Jackie, Connie and Noel, ShirleyAnne and Clinton.

Beloved grandmother of Nils (deceased), Stefan and Tia, Rochelle and David, Jason and Alma, Yvette, Kimberly, Andrew, Juanita, Renee, Stacey, Tammy, Aaron and Sara, Michael and Rene, Raewyn and Lawrence, Mahanga (deceased), Piripi, Timothy, April, Tawhirimatea, Karia, Manaia, Jack and Vanessa, Shirleyanne, Isaac, Roy Douglas, Rawiri, Te Aroha and Darryl, Anaka, Clinton and Tiare.
