Passed away peacefully at Te Hopai Home and Hospital, Wellington on Thursday, 20 April 2017, aged 88 years.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Unkabhai Gopal. Much loved mother and mother in law of Kamala & Thakor, Nagin & Sushila, Mahesh & Geeta. Loving grandmother of Kiran & Sangita, Mala & Umesh, Asha & Phil, Jaysell, Kimesha, Dharini, and Krishaan. Great grandmother to Siddharth. Beloved daughter of Sukhabhai & Sonaben (both dec), of Pathan, India. Beloved sister of Dayalbhai (dec), Jasmantbhai (dec), Hirabhai and Gosabhai. Beloved sister in law of Jamnaben & Ravjibhai (dec), Lakhubhai & Naniben (dec), Daniben & Nemabhai (both dec), Somiben & Chimanbhai, Maganbhai (dec)& Kantaben, Nanubhai & Wanitaben, Dahyabhai & Indiraben . Beloved aunty to her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Respects to Laxmi may be paid at 80 Melrose Rd, Island Bay between 2pm and 8pm Saturday 22, and Sunday, 23 April.

A service for Laxmi will be held at Bharat Bhavan, 48 Kemp St, Kilbirnie on Monday, 24 April at 11am, followed by private cremation.
