TOULIS, Hambis (Bob) – On 23 June 2018, Hambis passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, aged 86.

Beloved husband for over 54 years to Meni. Loved father and father-in-law of Chris & Maria, and Koula & Jean-Pierre.

Adored and loved grandfather to Melpo & John, Haralambos, Christodoulos & Angeliki.

Cherished and eldest brother and brother-in-law of Andreas, Eleni (Cyprus); Katina, Chrisostomos; Nikolas, Chloe (Cyprus); Fotini, Procopi (Cyprus); Spiros, Loulla, and all their families.

Loved cousin, uncle and great-uncle to a large extended family.

Longstanding friend and leader of the Cypriot Community, Wellington. Family wish to sincerely thank Mary Potter Hospice, Access, Wellington Free Ambulance and the district nurses for their support and care of Hambis.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greek Orthodox Church, Mary Potter Hospice and Wellington Free Ambulance, would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service for Hambis will be held in the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, "O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mt Victoria on Wednesday, 27 June 2018 at 11am followed by burial at Makara Cemetery.
