Nana was always an amazing and very important role model for me. On one hand she showed me how to be kind, gentle and caring, and on the other, she showed me how to be courageous, strong and to never back down or give up on something you believe in. She also taught me many important life lessons such as ”no un-cooked joints on the table!" I feel so lucky to have known the amazing and strong woman that Nana was and although I didn't get to spend time with her in the last few years, she was always in my heart and in my thoughts as she will continue to be forever. We will all miss you Nana. Gone but never forgotten. With all my love, may you rest in peace. Olivia
Janice Elliott-Howard said "There are Grandmothers out there who would move Heaven and Earth for their Grandchildren". I think we have all been lucky enough to know one here. Nana you taught me how feel confident in myself, and how to grow. Not only because of the never-ending courses of Rhubarb Pudding, Cookies, and good food, but also as a person. You were my voice of the past, but also a mentor for the future. One that I will never forget.
Adam
