On November 3, 2018, suddenly and unexpectedly; in her 87th year.

Devoted wife of the late Mervyn, loved Mum of Stuart and Kay, Russell and June, Malcolm and Josephine, Allan and Rhonda, loved Nana of Allison and Andy, Melanie and Kim, Merv and Ahna, Denise and Dave, Rachel and Dale, Kate and Adam, Colin and Aimee, Craig and Jackie, Grant and Beth, and Nana Aitken of all her Great and Great-great-grandchildren.

A service for Lorene will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 12.30pm on Thursday November 8, followed by private cremation.
