WINKELS, Rosaleen (Rose, Rosie) nee Gill.

Originally from Loughglynn, County Roscommon, Ireland.

Rose passed away peacefully at the Vincentian Home in her 92nd year.

Dearly loved wife of Joe for 63 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Martin, Rita and Neville Fry, Bernard and Maelyn, Roger and Anita, Marianne and Hank Nalder, Suzanne and Ian.

Much loved grandma Rosie of Joe and Filipa; AJ and Jess, Jake; Daniel, Aaron and Liz, Brianna; Max and Alex; Holly and her beloved grandogs Jack and Nelson.

Great grandmother to Joseph, Rocky, Manaia-Leigh; Madeleine.

Loved by all her nieces and nephews in England, Ireland and the Netherlands.

A special thank you to the Vincentian Home for their wonderful care of Rosie.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Vincentian Home or Chelsea Club would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Anne’s Catholic Church, 22 Emmett Street, Newtown, Wellington on Thursday 10th January 2018 at 11am.

Thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at the same Church on Wednesday 9th of January at 7pm.
