Brooke-Carr, Elizabeth Ann

Elizabeth died at home on September 3, 2019, in her beloved Dunedin UNESCO City of Literature, in her bed, lumpy with books, loved ones around her; aged 79 years.

Loved and loving wife of Neville Carr. Loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Mark Brooke and Shona McDowell (Sumner); Nigel Brooke (Natimuk, Australia) and Lisa Elliott (Margaret River, Australia). Loving and proud grandma of Rosa and Mia, (Sumner) and Poppy and Fin, (Australia). Daughter of the late Olivia and Joseph McNeill, and sister of the late Neville. Loved sister-in-law of Pat McNeill and dear Aunty Liz of Ayleen and family.

Elizabeth is at home and friends are welcome to visit and spend time together.

A gathering to celebrate her life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 12.30pm on Saturday September 7, followed by private cremation.
