SHIRKEY, Noeleen Fay (nee Houghton).
On Wednesday 20th November 2019, peacefully at Carter Court, Carterton, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Marion and Ray Wylie, Helen Snee, Bill and Sonia, Fay and Graeme Menzies, Margaret and Kevin Pratt. Very special Nana to all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Anyone wishing to come and visit Noeleen at Richmond funeral home, Carterton on Friday may do so until 1.00pm.
Noeleen will thereafter lay at 170 West Street, Greytown on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 12:00pm where she will then be taken to Richmond House, Featherston, where she can be visited on Sunday 12:00pm and 6:00pm. A service for Noeleen will be held at St Andrew’s Union Church, Featherston, on Monday 25th November 2019 at 11:00am, followed by interment at the Featherston Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Carter Court, Carterton would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A special thank you to the staff at Arbor House, Carter Court, and Dr Mike Berry for their excellent care of Noeleen.
