Peacefully on 14 December 2020 with family at his side. 

Loved father and father-in-law of Ingrid and Simon, Niki and Shinya, Dominic and Nigel, Carne and Mark, Jessica and Sven, Sara and Pete. Grandfather to Kurt, Lena, Nina, Otto, Imogene, Stella, and Scarlett. Former husband to Sophia, and Margaret.

The service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 375 Adelaide Rd, Newtown, Wellington on Thursday, 17 December 2020 at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
