Farrelly, James (Jim) – On 6th January 2021.

Jim passed away peacefully at Wellington Hospital after a fall on New Year’s Day, aged 89 years young.

Beloved husband of the late Betty, on whose birthday he passed.
Amazing father and father-in-law to Bill and Sue, Trish and Colin and Michael and Julie. Adored and very cool grandad to Helen and Aidan, Frances, Rachael and Kenny, Adam and Frances, Abby and Andrew and Rebecca. Doting great grandfather to Henry and Mia.

Sincere appreciation to Kevin and Vanessa and the wonderful staff at Alexandra Rest Home who made Jim part of their family. Thanks also the staff of Ward 7 South Wellington Hospital who provided such incredible care to Dad in his last days.

Jim’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St Patrick, Childers Terrace, Kilbirnie on Wednesday 13th January at 11.00am, followed by a private family cremation. The Rosary will be recited at the church on Tuesday evening at 7pm.
