BLOCKLEY, Donald Peter, (Peter) of Paraparaumu on November 2nd 2021 peacefully at Wellington hospital. Aged 92 years.

Cherished and dearly loved husband and best friend of Marie-Louise. Loved husband of the late Pauline. Loved and loving father and father-in-law of David (Auckland) Graeme and Julie (Sydney), Trevor and Adele (Rangiora), Kerry (Washington DC) Tonia and Matthew Kingi (Raumati), Sheryn and John Ambler (Auckland). Loving and proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Special and admired friend of Michelle and Mark (Seattle), Brent, Wendy, and Molly (Sydney), Billy (Boston), Fleur, Cini and Rudy (Sydney); Loved brother of the late Ian, and Judy (Napier).

Peter was a proud and loyal past pupil of St Pat’s Wellington. He clung closely to the school motto “Sectare Fidem” Hold firm to the faith.

Peter’s Requiem Mass will be held at Our Lady of Kapiti Catholic Church Presentation way (off Milne Drive) Paraparaumu on Tuesday November 9th 2021 at 11:00am followed by an interment at the Awa Tapu cemetery.
