DAY, Ralph Strother. Regt No. 632501, Trooper, 19th Armoured Regt., 1939–45. Of Greytown.
On 28th December 2021 peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital. Aged 97 years.
Dearly loved husband of the late Jean. Loved father and father-in-law of Jenny and Tim Carr, Carol and Trevor Parsons, Martin and Trish, Rex and Sue.
Loved Grandad (GG) of Julieanne, Dave; Mike; Marie, Phil; Jacob, Nathan, Becky and his great grandchildren and great great Grandchild.
Loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Marjorie and Charlie Dickie and loved uncle of Maureen and Bruce. Dear friend to Doris.
A special thanks to the Doctors and staff Wairarapa Hospital for their loving care and to all at Palliser Home for their care and support over recent months.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Greytown RSA Welfare fund would be appreciated.
A service for Ralph will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Friday 31st December 2021 at 2.30pm followed by private cremation.
Vaccination passes are required to attend this service. The service will be livestreamed - see Liivestream tab.

We are comforted in the knowledge that Ralph has touched the lives of so many wonderful people and that he is now reunited with his beloved Jean. Thank you each and every one of you.
