RUAKERE, Colleen Rita - On 11th August, 2007 peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice surrounded by family, aged 72 years.

Much loved wife of the late Barrett David Te Raroa Ruakere, mother of Maria, Stephen, Paora, Taare, Damian & Tam; grandma of Tawera & Taihawea. Dearly loved by all her brothers and sisters.

Grateful thanks to all the staff of Mary Potter Hospice for their care of Colleen.

Family and friends are welcome to spend time with Colleen at her home.

Colleen's funeral mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Cross, cnr Miramar Ave & Hobart St, Miramar on Tuesday 14th August at 9.30am.

Following the service the family will travel to Puniho Marae, Okato, Taranaki where Colleen will lie in state on Tuesday night. A service will be held at the above Marae on Wednesday at 2.30pm followed by interment at Taihua Urupa.
