THOMSON, Maryann (Mary) Salafai passed away peacefully on 28th January 2022 surrounded by family, following a short illness at the age of 73.

Loved daughter to Lise and Gerald, sister to Etevese, Teresa, Eileen and Michael, mother of Carl and Paul.

And loved sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and friend.

Special thanks to the staff at Mary Potter Hospice, Wellington for their compassionate care of Maryann in her final days.

A private service to celebrate Maryann’s life will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, Paraparaumu on Wednesday 2nd February at 1:00pm, followed by a private cremation at Waikanae Crematorium.

Family and friends attending Maryann’s service will need to register their attendance. Please register to attend via the blue Register button at the bottom of this notice. There is a limit of 25 attendees.

The family are respecting Maryann’s wishes with there being no fuss and a small service. For those wishing to acknowledge her passing in some way, contributions can be made to Mary Potter Hospice www.marypotter.org.nz/ or an animal charity of your choosing.
