McNaughton, Nigel John - on 2 March 2022

Peacefully at Wellington Hospital, after a brave struggle, aged 44 years.

Beloved big brother of Bex Robertson, and son of Marie Hannan and Neville and Brenda McNaughton, dear friend and compatriot to so many in the Wellington Magic and Board Gaming communities.

Special thanks to Ann Hester, Godfrey Fernandez and all Nigel’s IT colleagues at Catalyst IT for their cherished friendship over the years and enduring support.

Heartfelt appreciation to Dr Anne O’Donnell and the team in Ward 5N for the compassionate and quality care Nigel received.

Nigel’s funeral service will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home, 375 Adelaide Road, Newtown on Sunday 6 March at 3pm, followed by a private cremation.

In accordance with the family’s wishes Nigel’s funeral will be open to vaccinated people only and certificates must be shown upon arrival at the venue.
