RUTTEN, Helena Gertruda (Lenie) – passed peacefully at the Mary Potter Hospice on 14th March 2022.

Sister and sister-in-law of Leo (dec), Bert (dec) & Lou (dec), Anne Wekenborg, Wil (dec), John (dec) & Maxine, Toos (dec), Cor, Tien & Marlene (dec), Fien Stadler, Mike & Mary (Western Australia), Betsy & Mike Mu, Diny & Joe Walker (dec), Tony & Trudy Flynn.

Daughter of the late Josephina & Hubertus Rutten.

A most wonderful aunt to her treasured nieces and nephews, a great and great-great aunt to so many more.

A gentle woman who ‘loved’ generously and was greatly ‘loved’ in return.

Lenie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, cnr of Hobart St and Miramar Ave, Miramar, Wellington on Thursday 17th March at 11:00am, thereafter private cremation.

At the family’s request Lenie’s funeral is open to vaccinated people only, vaccine passes must be shown upon arrival and masks must be worn.
Numbers able to attend are limited to 100 and you will need to ‘Register to Attend’ this funeral at the bottom of this page.

As a tribute to Lenie please bring a flower from your garden to place on her casket.
