GILBERT, Bertha May – Peacefully at Wellington Hospital on 26th July 2022, aged 90 years.

Beloved wife of the late Peter and mother of Jane & Ally, John & Karen, Richard and Louise. Grandmother of Liam, Max, Aaron, Rachael, Lilian, Lucia and Emilia. Great-grandmother of August, Sonny, Finneas and Nina. Sister of Kelvin and Peter, and the late Vernon, Jock and Ailsa.

Special thanks to the nurses of Ward 4 at Wellington Hospital for their love and care of Bertha.

A service for Bertha will be held at St Peter’s Church, 211 Willis Street, Te Aro on Tuesday 2nd August at 2pm, thereafter private cremation.
