Aroha and Andrew’s family wish to express heartfelt thanks to all of those friends, family, colleagues, and others who have supported Aroha and his children in so many ways during their recent loss of Andrew, including unbelievable hospitality and logistical help that enabled all of Andrew’s children and their families to travel to Greytown and spend time with Andrew in the past couple of months. Andrew was a beautiful, gentle, and clever man with a love of life, an enduring faith, and wide ranging interests that led to connections with many wonderful and interesting people from all different walks of life who expressed their sympathy by way of written messages, flowers, food, phone calls, visits and tributes and travelled from far and wide to honour Andrew and celebrate his life.

BECK, Andrew Charles.
Barrister of Greytown and formerly of Dunedin and South Africa, died at home with family on Saturday 24 September, aged 65.   Much adored husband of Aroha, father and father in-law of Graham and Vanessa, Jonathan and Emily, Michael and Michelle, Daniel and Christie, Adam, Isaac and Hannah, Joshua, Zachary, Cecilia, Eslyn and stepfather of Jesse.   Proud Gramski of Anika, Alina, Joseph, Amiran, Maxwell, Penelope, Leyla, and Samuel.  
"And I will arise and go now”. 
A service to celebrate Andrew’s life will be held in the St Luke’s Anglican Church, cnr main and Church Streets, Greytown on Friday 30th September 2022 at 11am followed by private cremation. Andrew’s service will be livestreamed via his tribute page (light blue box at top of page)
