KOMATAS, Anna (Ninika) – Peacefully at Rita Angus Retirement Village on 13 October 2022, in her 103rd year.

Loved wife of the late Konstantinos; beloved mother and mother-in-law of Aleco & Jeanne, Christina & Peter; dearly loved grandmother of Christopher & Claire, and the late Kim; great-grandmother of Alexander and Elise; loved aunt of Nadia & Costello, Costa & Gloria, Doda and the late Kiki and Ketula; beloved sister of the late Evangelos & Eleni, Hrisostomos & Tasula; dearly missed by Pitsa & the late Steve.

Special thanks to the angels of Rtia Angus Retirement Village and Dr Rose Dodd and Dr Ciandra Keenan for their love and care of Anna.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance or the Greek Orthodox Cathedral would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Anna’s funeral service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral “O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria on Tuesday 18th October at 11:00am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.
