ROPER, Gilbert Howard (Gil) Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on 26 February 2023, aged 79 years.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Helen.

Much loved and cherished father and father-in-law of David & Angela, Mark & Jacqui, Paul & Rebecca, Simon & Charmaine, Luke & Neerti.

Proud Grandfather of Stella, Holly, Harrison, Caitlin, Isla, Annabella, Ethan, Iris, Oscar and Amelia.

A heartfelt thanks to the dedicated medical staff who cared for Gil.

A celebration of Gil’s life will be held at St Christopher’s Anglican Church, Main Road, Tawa on Tuesday 7th March at 11am. A private family burial to follow.
