JAMIESON, Margaret Mary Glennie
(Glennie) née Holmes,
21.12.1933–11.5.2023.
Died at Ross Home, Dunedin, after a short illness.

Eldest daughter of the late Tag and Marg Holmes of Sydney; sister of Bill, Eleanor, Dick, Ben, and Ruth; and sister-in-law of Siobhan and the late Ken. Much loved mother of Philippa, Helen and Quentin, and mother-in-law of Deb, Andy and Angela. Loved grandmother of Rowan, Rata and Douglas; step-grandmother of Ayla, Ella and Dylan; step-great-grandmother of Tyson and Madison. Former wife of Don Jamieson.

Treasured friend, neighbour and colleague of many through her library career, the City Choir Dunedin, tramping and exercise groups and her wider community.

A service for Glennie will be held in Gillions Chapel 407 Hillside Road on Thursday May 18 at 11am, followed by interment in the natural burial section of Green Park cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Orokonui Ecosanctuary
orokonui.nz/donate or may be left at the service.
