Karen Patricia Harris (nee Cook), 68, of Tawa sadly and unexpectedly passed away on 27 August, 2023.



Beloved wife of Ian, loving mother of Jeffrey and Kate, David and Michaela. Proud Nanny to her grandchildren Chloe, Lily, Andrew and Hazel. Sadly missed by her sister Susan Fowler and nephews Matthew and Diane, and Simon and Cici.

Karen spent her life caring for others as a pharmacist and in many other ways. She was a long-time Scottish Country dancer and enjoyed the outdoors.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at 10:30am on September 15th at Tawa Union Church. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Karen’s name to Mary Potter Hospice or Wellington City Mission.
