On 21st January 2008 suddenly while playing Golf. Aged 59 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Jill. Much loved Partner and best friend of Debs.

Loved father and father-in-law of Joanna and Daniel (South Africa), Trudy and Chris (Wellington), Kelly (Brisbane), Kathryn (Wellington), Natalie and Grant (Masterton).
Treasured Poppy of Jade and Lucais.

Loved son of Max, the late Jean; and Margaret.
Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jeanette and Brent Elder (Masterton), Brian and Bev (Gisborne), Margaret-Ann and Richard Butler (Masterton).
Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the National Heart Foundation, P.O. Box 2091, Masterton would be appreciated.

A service for John will be held at the South Wairarapa Workingmens Club, (West street entrance), Greytown on Monday 28th January 2008 at 1.00 p.m. followed by private cremation
