Jakich, Ljubo (Leo); Died February 5, 2005, peacefully at home in Wellington surrounded by his loving family. Born 22nd February 1922, in Podgora, Dalmacija, Jugoslavija. Restaurateur: The Green Parrot, Tony’s and The Central Restaurant. Last of the founding members of the Wellington Yugoslav Club(1938). Dearly Loved son of the late Ivan and Drina and brother of Vjera, Kreso and the late Sveto. He leaves behind Flora, his wife of 50 years, his children Drina and Joze, Krasna and Vladan, Ivan and Marjory, and his grandchildren Ana, Ivan, Viktor and Lucia. Pocivaj u Miru. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Te Omanga Hospice, P O Box 30-814, Lower Hutt, who have given such great care and support to Ljubo and the family. A funeral service will be held at Old Saint Paul’s, Mulgrave Street, Thorndon on Thursday February 10th, 2005 at 11:30am thereafter interment at Karori Cemetery.

Jakich Ljubo- Much Respected , loved and closest family friend of Andelka and the late Ivan (Jack) Vegar. Old Mates Leo and Jack are together again. Loved and respected Barba Ljubo of Paul and Terri Vegar. Our thoughts and love are with Flora , Vjera, Drina, Krasna and Ivan and Their families. Pocivaj u Miru.
