On 18 March 2008, peacefully in the presence of his family. Aged 80 years.

Dearly loved husband & friend of Raiha (Rae) for 53 years. Loved father and father in law of Sheryl and Garry Lloyd, Kerry Lyons and Neil Brown, David and Bridget, Owen and Junior Ellmers. Loved Grandad and Poppa to Leonie (dec), Andrew and Helen, Karina and Elias; Jade, and Amy; Cameron, and Kieran. Great Poppa to Logan.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Arohanui Hospice PO Box 5349 Palmerston North would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.

A service for Arnie will be held in St Mary’s Anglican Church, Cambridge St, Levin on Saturday 22 March 2008 at 11am followed by private cremation.
