STRINGER, Bruce Raymond of 36 Cannington Road, Maori Hill.

Bruce fought a 2 year battle of pain with courage, determination and inner strength which ended on August 6, 2008 at the Otago Community Hospice; aged 64 years.

Beloved husband of Carole (nee Paterson), father and father-in-law of Linaire and Rod Jones (Christchurch), Darryl and Siobhan. Grandad Bruce to Luke, Evienne Jones; and Sean.

A service for Bruce will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Friday August 8, followed by private cremation.

A donation for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
