Of Carterton. On Saturday 16th August 2008. Peacefully at Wairarapa hospital. Aged 84 years.

Loved husband for 57 years of Margaret. Loved father and father in law of Les and Rosemarie, Martin and Judith. Loved grandad of Nicola and Chris, Becca and Mike, James, Michael and Claire. Loved great grandad of Alisha. Loved step-grandad of Deanna, Jolene, Kelly, Leann, their partners and children. Loved brother of Muriel (UK).

In lieu of a floral tribute, a donation made the Roseneath Residents Trust, 227 High St South, Carterton would be appreciated and may be left in the chapel foyer.

A service for Lionel will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Wednesday 20th August 2008 at 11am, followed by interment at the Clareville Services Lawn Cemetery.
