Regt No. 44293, SGT, 19th Infantry Batt, Western Desert; and 19th Armoured Regt, Italy, 2nd NZEF, 1939-45.

On 28th August 2008 (peacefully) at Metlifecare, Masterton. Aged 91 years

Much loved husband of the late Doreen.
Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Elspeth and Alistair Miller (Masterton), John and Helen (Carterton), Percy and Norma (Masterton), Gwenda and Sam Saunders (Masterton).
Loved Poppa of Fiona, Alison, Renee and Leanne; Johnie, Tessa, Lachie, and Corey; Sebastian, Andrew, Emilio, and Phillip; Luke, Jenna, and Benny and great Grandad of Jayden and Olly.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Wairarapa Cancer Society, P.O. Box 121, Masterton would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.

A service for Jack will be held in St David’s Union Church, Carterton on Monday 1st September 2008 at 2.00 p.m. followed by private cremation.
