On 7 September 2008, peacefully at Palliser Lifecare, Greytown. Aged 89 years.

Beloved husband of the late Betty.
Much loved father and father in law of Jackie and Warren Hayles (Greytown), Debbie Mortimer and Mark Macpherson (Melbourne). Beloved Pop of Rodger and Tilly, Scott and Jo, Karen and Craig; Bryden, and Hayley and his great grandchildren.

Loved brother and brother in law of Phyl and the late Peter Hollis, Jim (deceased) and Dawn Mortimer. Loved brother in law of Lois and John Bee, Joy and Selwyn (deceased) Holden, and the late Madge and Nelson Matthews. A loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Cancer Society, PO Box 121, Masterton, 5840 would be appreciated.

A private family service followed by cremation will be held in the Wairarapa. A memorial service will be held at the Kaipara RSA, Commercial Rd, Helensville on Monday 15 September 2008 at 2.00pm.
