On 7 September 2008, peacefully at Palliser Lifecare surrounded by family. Aged 73 years.

Dearly loved husband of Judy. Loved father of Serena, Tiki, Cindy, Hugh, Matiu, Kathy, Joe, Kelly, Raewyn, and Rebecca and their respective partners. Loved grandfather of his 33 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Loved brother of his only surviving sister Mona. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A service for Hugh will be held in St John’s Anglican Church, Fox St, Featherston tomorrow (Tuesday) 9 September 2008 at 11.00am followed by private cremation.
