Peacefully after a short illness at Southland Hospital on September 21, 2008; in his 77th year.

Dearly loved husband for 54 years of Elaine, dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Lynne and Laurie Rangi (Invercargill), Grant and Rita, and Jan. Dearly loved Poppa of Kim, Sian, Renee and Tarryn; Alex and Jarrod; Carmel and Caley; and loved Great Poppa of Jackson and Lena.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated and can be made to Blair's favourite charity, Southland Cystic Fibrosis Association, and may be left at the service.

A service for Blair will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12 noon on Thursday September 25, then to the Green Park Cemetery.
