MONAHAN Iris Maureen on April 9, 2005 peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice, after a long illness. Much loved wife of the late Larry and mother of Nigel. Dearly loved sister of Gerry, Irene, Eddie, Audrey, Margaret, Britz, Muriel, Maurice, Christine, Evelyn, and June, and sister-in-law of Anne.

God called your name softly and only you could hear, and no-one heard the footsteps of angels drawing near. It broke our hearts to love you, but you did not go alone, for parts of us went with you, the day God called you home. - sadly missed by Nigel, Carmin, Nancy, the Faámoani family and all those who knew her.

Special thanks to the staff of Mary Potter Hospice, Nancy, and the Faámoani family for their care of Iris.

A service for Iris will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 375 Adelaide Road, Newtown on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 12.00 noon thereafter private cremation.
