On 19th February 2009 Passed away peacefully at Roseneath, Carterton. In her 83rd year.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Robert Stanley (Bob) Skipage QFSM.

Much loved and devoted mother and mother-in-law to John and Sue (dec), Marilyn and Richard Hetherington, Suzanne and Sonny Mitchell, Bev and Grant Henderson and friend of Diane. Cherished Nana to Wayne, Peter, Joy, Wendy, Anne, Rozz, Matthew, Robert, Chris, Toni and Daniel. Adored Great nan to her 11 great grandchildren.

God saw that she was weary
The hill too steep to climb
So gently closed her eye lids
And whispered “Peace be thine”

The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Aversham Resthome for the wonderful care given to Lizzie over the last three years.

A service to celebrate Lizzie’s life will be held at the St John Anglican Church, Fox St, Featherston on Tuesday 24th February at 11am followed by interment at the Featherston Lawn Cemetery.

As per Lizzies wishes in lieu of flowers a donation to The Order of St John P.O. Box 56 Featherston 5740 or can be left in the Church foyer.
