Of Carterton. On 4th March 2009 peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital. Aged 85 years.

Dearly loved husband of Phyllis for 60 years.

Loved father and father-in-law of Melva and Denis Howard (Lower Hutt), Terence (Australia), Michael and Carol (Wellington), Bernadette and Keith Saywell (Greytown), Catherine (Carterton).

Loved Grandad of Steve and Michelle (Perth), David and Sophie (Wellington); Matthew, and Tiffany (Both Australia); Ben, Jonny, Matt, and Luke (all of Wellington); Chelsea (Edinburgh), and Kaden (Greytown).

Loved great Grandad of Taylor, Jordan, and Regan (all of Perth).

Treasured and respected uncle of his many nieces and nephews.

A Requiem Mass for Bill will be celebrated in St Mary’s Catholic Church, Carterton tomorrow (Friday) 6th March 2009 at 3.00 p.m. followed by private cremation.

Rosary will be recited in the Church this evening (Thursday) at 6pm.
