FAKAOTIMANAVA, Puli Hayes. (Bill)

Of Martinborough, formerly of Naenae and Anatalana, Niue.

On 21st March 2009 peacefully at his home. In his 79th year.

Dearly loved husband of Peggy (for 57 years).
Loved stepfather and stepfather-in-law of Darrel and Bruce French (Tasmania) and loved Grandad of his step Grandchildren.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Lui Mokoniu and Mataifi (both deceased); Jack (deceased) and Mary Tagelagi, Helen and Mark, Maelen and Robyn and families; and Uncle of Frank Lui Companion (C.N.Z.M.) of the New Zealand Order of Merit (Premier of Niue 1993 - 99) and Iris and Francis, Teuila, Emani, Sharon and families, Charles (deceased) and Fane, Teuila and family, and John Pele and family.

Loved great uncle of Holona and Trish, Ciara, Eamon, and Conor; Fane and Ross, Garry, Cory, and Morgan; Togia and Jane; Moko; Kenny and Kathy, and Jessica.

Loved and respected by Johnny and Shirley Shaw; Lyn, Diane, Ken and Richard Taylor; Graham and Doreen Rogers (deceased); Alan and Karyn Rogers and Jared (deceased), Brendan, Drew and Mark.

Greatly loved by all his family and friends in Niue and New Zealand.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Wairarapa Ambulance Service, C/- P.O. Box 96, Masterton 5840 would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.

A service for Puli will be held in the First Church, Jellicoe Street, Martinborough on Wednesday 25th March 2009 at 1.30 p.m. followed by private cremation.
