SIMMONDS, Mary Josephine (nee Wall). Formerly of Greytown.

On 27th March 2009 peacefully at her home, Metlifecare Masterton. In her 86th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late John.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Deb (Greytown), Barbara and Mack Thompson (Whitby), Kevin and Chrissy (Napier), Anne (deceased), Neil and Julia (Pukekohe), Donna and Craig Starnes (Wellington).

Treasured Grandma of Vanessa, Bronwyn and Karly; Janine, Angela, and Katie; Brett and Richelle; Jemma and Hamish; Madeline, Megan and Imogen.
Loved great Gandma of Zak, Lucas, and Mikayla.

Loved sister and sister-in-law of Verd and Kathleen Wall (Both deceased), Eddie (deceased), and Pat Wall (Christchurch) and loved Auntie of all her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation to “The Talking Book Programme” C/- the Royal Foundation for the Blind, P.O. Box 27177, Wellington 6141 would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.

A service for Mary will be held in St Luke’s Anglican Church, Cnr Main and Church Streets, Greytown on Tuesday 31st March 2009 at 1.00 p.m. followed by burial at the Greytown Lawn Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Greytown on Monday evening at 6.00 p.m.
