Passed away peacefully and without warning on 8 December 2009 after a wonderful reunion with his family the previous day.

Much loved husband of Clarice (Sountheri), father and father-in-law of Hiran and Meghan (USA), Dilky and Ajit Rasiah, Grandad of Thomah, Marala, Yovan and Nishan, brother and brother-in-law of Eric and Premi (Canada), Vathanie and late Thivi Ponnudurai (The Netherlands), late Sandy and late Nim (England), Tim and Mrin, Ranjan and Ren La Mather (Sri Lanka), Noeline and Susindran Sinnatamby (Canada), Jonathan and Jeanne Mather(USA), Kumar and Shivanti Mather.

No flowers by request.

Donations to Wellington City Mission and Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may also be left at the service.

Last respects may be paid at Guardian Funeral Home, 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville, Wellington on Saturday 12 December 2009 between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm.

A service for Chris will be held at the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul, corner of Hill and Molesworth Streets, Wellington on Monday 14 December 2009 at 1.00 pm, followed thereafter by a private cremation.
