On 19th September 2010 peacefully in the arms of his beloved wife June. Loved father of John (Raumati), Neal (UK), and Susan (deceased). Stepfather of Lynne (South Africa), Stephen Leigh (Greytown), and Matthew Farmer (Queensland), and loved grandfather of his grandchildren.

Thanks to the Palliative Care Nurses, Greytown Lifecare, Dr Nathan and Greytown Medical, for their care of John, and to Michelle of Greytown Pharmacy for her help.

In accordance with John’s wishes a private service has been held.
